Not a comedy. And its well-done

It wasn't a parody like Mel Brooks movies or Top Secret, Naked Gun, etc, but it was a parody, played straight-face (sometimes too straight-faced) of Lifetime movies, presented as part of Lifetime's 25th Anniversary. For avid Lifetime movie fans, it could be watched as a serious movie, but I'd advise watching a second time to look for the parts played strictly to parody Lifetime's typical movies. Think about how it's so predictable--with a title like A Deadly Adoption, that pregnant woman sitting on a wharf that we learn is off limits, is bound to fall and have a miscarriage, which will lead to an adoption with deadly consequences. Then this seemingly perfect, unbelievably beautiful girl shows up as the birth mother! We find out she's planning to seduce Robert. Skip to her attempted murder of Sarah, then shooting Robert. Blood is pouring from his shoulder, that would've weakened a normal man too much to be able to rescue his wife from the car, much less carry her out of the garage standing perfectly erect like Superman! And afterwards take a boat, riding from dark to daylight to that bridge to wait there for Joni to come by in the truck! We also find out that before leaving in the boat, he managed to think clearly enough to bring Sully's insulin! See what else you can find.
