Abu Ahmad....

How is this guy not a total p***y? OK, he's in hiding. He tries to go to his brother's wedding, and his brother and another guy get killed. So what does he do? Stay in hiding and send his brother's widow to plant a bomb. Sure, he tells the go-between (a kid who is risking his life for him) to make sure she "gets out safe," but it's a dangerous mission. And she dies.

So he goes to see his wife, a risky proposition that ends up getting his mother or mother-in-law KILLED and the doctor who saved his life in serious trouble....not to mention his family. But what does he do? He keeps hiding, then kills his mentor who saved his life at least once.

Why? What is so damned important about his own life any more? Any attack that he can organize, someone else can organize. If he wants others to risk their damned lives then why shouldn't he sacrifice his?

I am not getting into the politics or causes of this. My only point is that this guy is nothing but a coward. If his cause is so important then he should damned well just die for it. Isn't that the point?

He's just a coward. Like a big lion who sits on his ass while the women and others fight and hunt and die.

There are heroes and anti-heroes, and then there are villains. This guy is the worst villain of them all. Doran is an anti-hero, but he's not a VILLAIN.

I agree with your assessment. He is lacking in courage and hides behind his goons.
Doran on the other hand may be an anti-hero but at least he's got more courage and doesn't hide
himself. As for being a hero that might not be something he really cares about.
Spoilers: If it's any consolation to you he ends up being killed by someone close to him and whom he trusted.
