Spooner vs. The Amelia Earhart Alien

This show keeps on being an unpolished gem. On tonight’s ep, 6.6, The Legends do what they always do—fuck up—and unleash a huge, toothy space alien from the body of Amelia Earhart (don’t ask). In the ensuing melee, spunky, plucky little Spooner is knocked to the ground, sans weapon. The alien races toward her, roaring— and Spooner responds by lunging at the alien on all fours and roaring back! The alien is cowed in mid-step!

It’s the little things that count in life. That moment was an inspired realization of the saying, “It’s not the size of the dog in the fight. It’s the size of the fight in the dog.” I say hooray for actress Lisseth Chavez and the show’s writers.
