I'm surprised this movie didn't get as much attention as it deserved...

It's not some over-the-top drama like Love, Simon or other more mainstream LGBTQ+ movies... It's real, and at times it can be raw, downright heartbreaking even... But ultimately I think Frankie learned, at the end of the day, that being yourself and trying not to feel/show fear for the things that make you not so "normal" in the eyes of society can only be good for young people. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. Especially for teens. It's good stuff. :-)
