So bad it's good if you like gore, weird aliens and bad costumes

The cockroaches actually looked pretty good, and their movements and CGI weren't bad when just one or two of them were on the screen at a time (I've seen better and worse).

The violence in the movie was kind of weird, insofar that there was a lot of head crushing, arm-tearing, and body crushing going on, but the movie is like a grade above something on Syfy.

It's bad in an entertaining way, and if you don't mind cheesy special effects and a by-the-numbers plot you might enjoy this flick. It's dumb fun to say the least, but the violence is no where near as disturbing as the OVA despite having plenty of gore.
