Reduce the Number of Shows to Watch.
Be careful to commit to any TV show emotionally.
I saw it mentioned other places - Wait a season to get into a show (wait until the show is renewed, then watch Season 1 to build into Season 2)
Any show you are on the edge of whether you should watch or not watch - Don't watch, especially if its not one of the obvious shows the networks will keep even if they aren't good right away - it will be canceled.
A better strategy could be to just enjoy great shows while you can because today's network execs don't recognize the potential for longevity from the quality and content of an opening season anymore, all they understand are numbers. So enjoy quality viewing while its there, because it will be brief, then you can just wait until they stumble upon something else that's worth watching lol.
sharethis is why cable is taking over the world. Because networks suck. I dont watch network tv. I stumbled across limitless on netflix and immediately checked to see if it was still in production before going forward. I am content in knowing there are a certain amount of episodes, and im not going to get screwed over by ignoramuses yanking my show. The best platform is the total release of one season at once on cable. Its taking over. Networks are way too busy selling ad space to give a rats ass if anyone cares about a show. Cable is willing to take a chance. I wish the creator of this show was open to moving to cable. Hed certainly have a broader audience and more creative freedom.
Its a shame.
A little late but i still hate that they never picked up Studio 60 on the sunset strip again :(
