Her Relationship with Tucker

Maybe it was just me, but I found it really odd when Tucker proposed. Prior to that, the presentation in the film made feel like they weren't even in a full relationship yet. It seemed like he was the guy always doing things for her, partially taking care of her, but she was afraid to commit to any real relationship because of her dead husband and current life as a single mother. It was kind of shocking when he proposed as it seemed like they weren't really together as a couple.
