I was confused on her departure with Shay's boyfriend. Did she go back with him to Sidney? The whole thing seemed bizarre because she had a packed suitcase so since there was no mention of them staying with someone they knew why would she say she hates summer crowds and needed to get away. Of course the guy knows no one in Weld. Seems odd with this story arc considering her age.
shareI don't think they went back to Sydney. The boyfriend was asking Shay to go with him on a road trip somewhere but she didn't want to go. I think she will probably turn back up near the end of the season or maybe not.
shareI get what you are saying, it just seemed as if her taking a road trip with someone she is hard pressed to even know his last name is bizarre. Lindsey I believe is 15 or 16. I think they Just didn't think this story arc through. Her father at least knows the the Turners, plus they live in town, and I don't think he would consent to an extended road trip with a guy he has never met without protest. I think this story is headed for her actions are like her promiscuous mom and great grandmother. It's still so all of a sudden and over the top for a series like this. She also made it sound as if she will be gone for the summer...Maybe I just missed something and he is going alone and dropping her off somewhere along the line, as a dad I would hope this is the case.

She is not likeable, I do not feel sorry for her, and what the heck is up with her family? Hello? You do not let this kid just run around wild, that is nuts. Where are the writers trying to go with her?
