Draft Lottery

Compulsory military service for young men is never a positive practice in my opinion but the method used in Thailand and depicted in this film - having young males entered into a lottery and then all those who draw red tickets enduring two years of service - seems particularly cruel.

This otherwise pretty generic film is at least given some kick by this aspect of the plot. It seems like an agonising experience to have to go through.
