Why would a Christian want to kill the antichrist?

I have glanced through enough and of course there are always tow sides.

Nearly all is based on a possible truth. The logical interpretations of most argument can easily destroy either sides thinking.

One thing that is fairly constant is that the ANTI CHRIST is the sitting POPE. That does not mean an inherent EVIL exists in that position. we are interpreting the word ANTI in a purely negative connotation and the protestant [most recently the deceased Rev Ian Paisley] will maintain this thinking as they are nearly rabbid in condemnation of the catholic church. I also feel this way but that is due to the fact that the idea is false. While I have no great understanding of the worlds faiths a life style of the Buddhist or Hindu may well be more useful. Not all of that belief though. Most faiths will have similar to the commandments from Exodus suggesting how man should behave and this should also be seen as the rules for the ruling class. Killing was wrong but only if it was to a person of status or wealth. Bit like now really.

The christian wants to kill the antichrist because he is conditioned to this end. To in any way feel that the Omnipotent God is not that powerful does not sit right. Revelations does not tell a story of Gods defeat or that it is remotely possible. It does perhaps read as if written by a William Blake, Coleridge or any of those substance abusing regency artists. John Bunyan may have been a victim of the Salem type ERGOT. If there is a belief in the all powerful living loving GOD then any thoughts of him being deposed to allow a SATAN or any other thought up word to win a whatever battle is nonsense and totally illogical. Yes the world may well totally suffer a fate as visited by recent despotic dictators but what is that to a caring GOD who has saved everyone anyway. Who knows it may even include the despots if they converted on a deathbed.

So far the first episode is working now that I know it is a continuation of Omen 1. Reports as far as thread titles go are not great. What I do remember is that the MUSIC made by GOD's creations drove the movies along. Amazing that a gift was given so that it could be used to emphasise an evil.

I am not religious of course any more. I am a hated fence sitter because I am not able to decide how we got to be here. Not you and me but the whole expanse. Do we only exist due to mental machinations of a child playing something like a computer game? Or like Gene Hunts imagined world in LIFE ON MARS/ASHES TO ASHES.

BTW I have enjoyed the whole BATES MOTEL story. I can even accept that it is not playing out chronologically. Love Vera. But now we are only going to see her as a ghost. Freddie is doing well but may not be popular with the locals. Well vera is foreigner as well. Sheriff Romero [maybe no longer] of foreign descent. Maybe it something to do with the UK Freddie attracts some negativity.

Will watch to this season end which also seems to be its total demise.
