River season two?

Have to say one of the best alternatives to a detective series I have seen in a long time, but will there be a second season considering the ending? No need on web

Because of the premise of the show, the possibilities are endless. I do feel there are a lot of things that could be uncovered ground - and the "characters" he "sees" could easily lend themselves to various types of stories as they go, plus the partner is a very good character as well, and, Chrissy, and the relationship that might develop between them as they progress through the rest of the grief in both their lives. I vote yes.

The tale that unfolded as some suggest very slowly would not appeal to the masses. But for me watching this over 5 evenings it was a roller coaster of emotion. Nicola who was a very by the book SPOOK can be seen here in a couple of personas. All played so well. The main cast were excellent and the support was so high standard. Of course many want more of this sort of quality but perhaps it played out fully for us. We must not forget that the boss man wants rid of him, somehow. Even if he has to date another mental assessor to get that result.
This was a well woven tale of everything that is bad including the family skeletons with Stevie. Wonder did her jailed brother know? I too like Stevie believe that too much emphasis is placed on blood loyalty ahead off what is true and right.

It was good to see that perhaps this particular manifest might go away as it would truly drive one madder than they already were.

Well done to all concerned.

I'd hope there's not a Season Two. Season One was a masterpiece and everything was tied up nicely.

I agree. As much as I enjoyed the series, I think it is one of those that is better as one and done mini series. It ended in a good place and the main thread of his dealing with his partner's death was resolved.
Of course, if they do decide to bring it back for a second series then I will be there to watch!
