Just to be clear, Jamie ended up leasing the acreage so the airport is being built instead of selling it outright?
Sounds like it. That way there is massive money flowing into the farm, and he makes sure John is still in control of the land.

It's kind of a hollow victory. If he sold the land outright, he'd have 500 million and not the acreage. By leasing it, he gets money but he has no say in the land.
