Yes yes and yes to everything you all said! Beautiful movie with lovely actors and a brilliant performance by Mr Murphy. I'll be crossing mg fingers that he does more complex, dramatic roles !

Nobody will EVER touch what Eddie did in the 2 Nutty Professor's but I suppose that's not acting. Being completely brilliant and doing something no one human could do HALF as good as him (lookin at you Martin!) is just silliness and nonsense. I suppose playing 7 COMPLETELY different characters in a movie requires no talent. Michael Keaton playing 5 versions of himself - acting only off RECORDED video footage...nah that's not acting.
The movie multiplicity didn't quite live up to it's star's ability but look at that ability. Keaton is amazing in Multiplicity playing different versions of himself. No make up. But when you add the make and let someone get totally lost in what they do and you get the Klumps.
Anyone who doesn't think Eddie is absolutely brilliant just watch The Nutty Prof. Watch Mama Klump scene with Sherman on the Porch. Absolutely brilliant. The pride and so close to tears of joy look mama klumps has for her son - *beep* EDDIE IS GOOD. Untouchable good.
