the trailer shows that it's a funny comedy about a historical person who somehow jumps into our time, the movie itself shows the same until the last minutes.
then it turns into a disgusting propaganda about that we need a leader and we need to wipe out every single person in europe who's not a native. it was way too dark, way too agressive and it was way too agitator.

terrible and disgusting ending.

would not recommend this to anyone.

i'll rate this movie with a 2 because of how it started.

Are you serious ? The movie shows how Hitler could rise to power again, with all the horrors coming back. In no way does it say that we need to wipe out foreigners. That's what Hitler says, it's supposed to be scary. It shows how people liked him and made him their leader. It tells us to be careful, that WW2 could happen again.

I think you missed the point. It wasn't about needing a Fascist, racist leader. It was about warning people about the dangers of buying into those kinds of messages, and how susceptible many people can be to that in times of fear, economic crisis, and cultural change.

It was silly, heavy handed leftist propaganda implying that wanting to keep your country safe from outside threats via unchecked immigration is Hitler like. Stupid message, but a pretty good movie.

I agree that it was a little heavy handed at times but it is scary to any sane minded person to see how we are letting history repeat itself.

Not everything that Hitler said was terrible, he did some good things for Germany in the beginning and personally, I think by turning him into a monster, we are blindly walking into the same trap again.

We don’t even see that if you replace the word ‘Jew’ for ‘Muslim’, we are buying into the same propaganda again.

I don't believe you watched the same film! This is satire! It is to remind us that what happened in the past can happen again! It in no way promotes the horrible things that Hitler did!

I was expecting a wacky "man out of time" comedy but this wasn't fun at all.
