Was the Ladybug a God Metaphor? (Spoilers)

Someone else already addressed how they tried to slip in a little anti-atheism message with one of the lines, but were they also trying to supplement that with a God metaphor in the form of a ladybug? I mean you could say it's just a metaphor for hope, but a lot of religious people get their hope from God, so it wouldn't surprise me if that's what they were going for.
