Ok, but seriously, why haven't they given five a guy yet?! That would be SO perfect if they found a guy around Five's age on a station or planet or something that became part of the crew, and five and he fell in love! Does anyone else think this?! It would be so awesome too because five is like super nice and deserves someone who can treat her as nicely as she treats others!! Any thoughts???

Oh man, YES haha that would totally happen! They would be so protective of Five, itd be great, and then the guy would be freaked out but ok because he wanted to be with her and didn't want to hurt her anyway! Ah, I hope they do something like this for the next season!!
Because this is not teenage romance story, and I doubt she'd have time for bf's or that many would get seriously involved with her considering she is a wanted criminal on board of a ship of hardcore criminals.
At best she could have a one night stand with some much older dude, because that is what teens usually fantasise about and she does travel a lot of planets and stations, so she could definitely get it on with her dream man for one night!

shareNot really, I mean I'm not opposed to it but it would have to come about very naturally. Usually when tv writers try to tackle romances, especially with teenagers, it becomes soppy. You gotta remember she's not a school girl too. While she is the sweet and caring one of the group she probably wouldn't express herself like a healthy 16 year old girl. She still has the instincts of being both a street urchin and a mercenary. Even if she is rarely in the front lines. She's had to grow up pretty fast and that would reflect in the way she would approached love. Her backstory is basically a much less extreme version of 3's.

shareNo, and it's one of the great things about this show. It doesn't pander to the soap opera audience, it's fast paced and action packed.
Look what happened to Arrow the moment they started it with 'olicity'. The past two seasons have been wretched, the first two were action filled entertainment (even if the acting was mostly 'meh').
I prefer the sub-focus on developing the crews caring relationship with one another each episode. If you want a love story this isn't for you.
Why not just let her get laid like other members of the crew. She looked really hot as a blond by the way.

Five is "the kid", and having an actual romance would conflict with that.
