Was the comedy forced in this one ?

In my opinion and not a popular one the comedy was kinda forced like tony wasn't like the sarcastic lord that he is. But it may be because the movie had a serious vibe and the hulk who had a serious humour had a bit sarcastic comedy like that was good but a average good. Just my opinion guys. The only character which had its before comedy was Drax and starlord also rocket

A lot of the comedy felt forced and was pretty terrible especially from the Guardians.

Not forced and far from terrible. You could, of course, argue it was forced in a way that it felt unnecessary in a scene or two (or more). But for the most part, the humor was as natural as it comes in an MCU film (too much humor in the MCU is a common complaint among those who both like and dislike this franchise - the latter for some reason love to hate-watch these films). Besides, having a few moments of levitity in a film that started tragically and ultimately ended tragically was appreciated.

And you kinda have it wrong; Drax, Rocket and Starlord were never the only real funny MCU characters. All the comedy/jokes coming from Tony, Peter, Mantis, and a few others were true to their characters. Tony being a humorous, sarcastic wise-ass? He was like that in “Iron Man” and not much has changed since. Parker? Being funny goes back to Spidey’s inception. How about Banner? Ever since he came back as himself in “Thor: Ragnarok”, he’s been clueless about many things (the guy is more paranoid than ever as well) so some of the things he says and does are going to be unintentionally funny.

So for me, the comedy works. Along with capturing the perfect tone for many of their scenes, the Russo brothers managed to stay true to all the character’s personalities+history. The Guardians in particular (excluding Gamora) have always been over-the-top funny bastards, and they weren’t any different in IW than they were in the first two Guardians movies. On a side note, those complaints about the MCU relying too much on humor... Deadpool says suck it “I’m a real adult who loves my Comic Book movies 100% joke-free” crowd... oughtta tell u your opinion isn’t an unpopular one.

Banner was never meant to be a humorous character, you think him tripping in the hulkbuster suit and slapping himself to become the hulk as a joke is true to his character? I love the Guardians in the first movie because the jokes in the movie were pretty clever and witty but the jokes from the guardians in this movie are like the second guardians where most of the jokes is very cringy, immature, and just not funny. Iron Man was pretty serious in Civil War, you would think he would also be serious in this movie when he knows a titan is trying to kill half of the universe.
