One thing I didn't quite understand

I mean I understood it but it didn't make much sense. So Ronan gives an order to fire the warheads. CM stops the first one, that was cool. But then why on Earth when she redirects it to other incoming warheads they all destruct? It didn't look like the first warhead detonated and the resulting wave destroyed the rest of them.
