what a riot, i love artie lange, one of the funniest people there is, how is he not higher regarded, i remember seeing him together with norm macdonald in a 1990's comedy flick, what a friggin dream team, and he was always a great guest on the late night talk shows. i waited a whole week with anticipation seeing a stand up show with him starring would air (this one), and i was not disappointed, and to realise it was a new performance too, he looked healthier and in higher spirits than i've ever seen him before, i love his jab at the current entertainment world, even though i'm not the same age as him it's totally relatable since things move so fast. according to me this is pretty much what would be john belushi or chris farley if they were still around. the hillbilly jim reference was an obscure reference.
