shareThey were mean to the writer because he was white and made him feel ashamed because of the color of his skin. Tragic what happened to those people, but not an excuse to act hateful . It wasn't the writers fault that those people suffered. I really really hated this movie!!
shareI saw the movie last night. Good decent movie made in south Dakota even though it was in the Pine ridge area.
Movie did get a bit preachy at the end but the thing is it wasn't just white people the soldiers who did horrible stuff but the Indians did stuff too back in the day too.
Plus that young gal Wynona that lived with Dan was a bitch by the way
