I was just watching this movie on Boomerang and noticed an awesome reference/adult joke. Near the end, the townsfolk are seen drinking root beer. The brand of said root beer was Schwanstucker's. Young Frankenstein! Hahaha!
shareNot being a fan of Young Frankenstein, I didn't recognize that reference but there are so many references to the old Frankenstein movies to be enjoyed in this. I especially appreciated the welcoming scene for Velma that reminded me of the beginning of 'Son of Frankenstein' (1939).
