If you've seen Faults in our stars, it's pretty much the same movie, except replacing physical sickness with mental trauma.
Yeah, it didn’t seem original at all. Basic trope of a quirky guy/girl being a fun and exciting partner and then dies, tries to kill or has severe mental health issue.
