They didn't advertise the second season at all

So, I think I saw an ad from Comcast or something saying all episodes of The Missing were On Demand. I had almost completely forgotten about this show since the first season aired way back in 2014. So, after being reminded that this show existed I became curious as to whether a season 2 was ever made. I checked my cable guide and saw that season 2 had started to air. Why on earth would they wait three years before making a second season and then not even advertise it? It's not like I don't watch Starz either. I watch Power and I don't recall seeing a single ad for The Missing.
