How did the old aboriginal guy escape from the cage? One minute he was in there, the next he wasn’t. I watched this with my wife and, at this scene, we both turned to each other and wondered how he did it. Bit of a ‘wtf’ moment.

Late reply, but it showed him in the cage hours and hours before it showed the empty cage. My guess is his tribe/family rescued him.

Hours in film time lol 😂 It was earlier in the day when he is shown first, then late at night when it shows the empty cage.
