When the time was up he was supposed to destroy the Earth if he was still alive. But, when the first term is over he just says, "OK, get ready for term 2." What happened to the whole, "I'm gonna blow up the world." part?

Koro-sensei said he's going to destroy the world in one year. Japanese school year is three terms, beginning in april. Season 1 ends during summer break. I'm expecting three seasons of the series, with season 2 ending at christmas.

The end was horrible. This series had such a positive attitude. Koro Sensai solved all the problems the kids had. And changed even the hierarchy at a strictly hierarchical school. And at the end .... he was killd. Beside that everything was solveable. That destroyed almost the complete series.
