The social dynamics within the group, and the attitude of the ONI guys towards other soldiers is so cliche. "They're only going to slow us down", etc, etc. While on the basis of what the viewer is shown there is absolutely no reason to believe that the ONI soldiers are superior to the Sedran soldiers in any way at all. Just because they believe in an afterlife we're suppose to believe the ONI guys are way better? I found it very painful to watch.
I also hated how everyone was talking about choosing which two guys were going to leave the Halo debris, while they haven't even seen the TUG in question and do not know if anyone would be able to leave at all. Yet everyone is acting all dramatic over it already. Completely broke my suspension of disbelief.
What I hated the most was how these battle hardened ONI guys broke down completely at the face of sudden death; betraying each other, betraying other soldiers, the Latino guy just feeling the need to look at the photo of his kids while it attracts the worms... Oh God, so dreadful!! These are the elite of the elite? Give me a break!!
In retrospect the 3/10 I handed out might be a bit too high!
