Pastorelli is Oscar worthy

I heard that Ilenia Pastorelli, the lead actress, was a contestant for the Italian Big Brother and after a few years of obscurity she managed to get this role and make her debut on screen with this movie.

Well, I was AMAZED by her performance! She really captured the essence of the character and her mental childish and disturbed status. There are a few scenes (the "rape" one and the final one) in which I was really moved by her acting.

She should really be taken into consideration for a major prize in America or in Europe because you don't see very often a performance like this.
