cartoon-ish characters and one of the most awful cgi i have ever seen. it was just pointless things happening on the screen.
there was no character built up, no pause , no humor nothing just huge cgi figures clashing each other on the screen. and funny thing is you cant even whats happening on screen.
avoid this garbage and watch something which soothes your mind.
Rented it tonight and stopped viewing it shortly after the oxygen destroyer was used. To have Stenz do this when, in the 2014 movie, he clearly regretted ordering a bomb to try and destroy Godzilla and the Mutos is not in continuity with the 2014 movie. In that movie Stenz clearly saw Serizawa was right. He would not fail to trust Serizawa in this movie. This movie has way to much swearing and violence, or rather, the violent scenes went on way too long.
shareIn 2013 i made a post on the imdb Godzilla board, but fanboys became butthurt for no reason. I simply stated an opinion and predicted the new movie will end up very bad. I wrote then that it was another big monster movie about teenagers running scared of destruction and chaos. It turns out my predictions then were very close to what Godzilla 2014 ended up becoming.
