Kong Films - Flying Too Low


In every Kong film the attacking aircraft fly too low/close to Kong and of course, some/all get destroyed. It was a bit more believable in the original, but even those 1930's biplanes were more than capable of killing Kong well outside of melee range.
I guess it is kinda a moniker of the franchise, but I hate it.

Kong could have still taken out the helicopters by throwing stuff(like he did to the first chopper), which could have been a very cool battle scene. Instead, we get the standard Kong movie pilot buffoonery.
