Kirsten prout annoys the hell out of me

I think she was miscast in this, she is just not able to play a villain convincingly. She was snippy and annoying when she should have been overly nice and agreeable. The scariest villains are the ones who don't seem evil at all and she was playing it evil from the start, she played the ending from the beginning of this film to the end. She gave too much away. There was no mystery or suspense in her character which there should have been.

You can only blame the writers to a degree. As an actress she should be able to work with what she has and create something with it. If you notice she plays every role she gets the same. A little duck lipped pout and a snippy tone. Like I said she's very one note. That works with some roles just not this one. The layers weren't there, they were in the writing just not her performance.

True to that, sometimes its the director making the actress do these things and not all directors "knows what is best"; so can't completely blame it on the actress herself, and like Morrison-Thompson said it could also be blamed on the writer as well. I watched the movie because I love the actress Jamie Luner who always does a great acting job.
