Cardinal Voiello and the disabled boy

Does anyone know who the boy in the wheelchair is to Cardinal Voiello? Is he his son perhaps?

Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love.

Thank you for making this post

I thought that might be the case, but there were other kids playing in his apartment as well. Maybe he is one of the children that are cared for at the convent.

Catholics like cornholing children so that's probably what he was up to.

He is not his son. But who he is to him I am not sure, maybe his nephew or the son of a friend.

I assumed it was his son. He only seems to visit him at night, in secret. When Mary followed him she thought he was visiting hookers, but then there was this boy.

I think when Mary mentioned the boy in episode 3, it was more of a threat than anything. A prominent Cardinal with a child is scandalous.

You haven't seen all episodes yet, right?

reply

Yep. I never thought he would turn out to be his son, and later episodes reveal more insights into the relationship.

Where are my dragons?

He's simply a sick person & the Cardinal is doing the 'Godly' thing, by spending his time with him.
For years. Which is why he is has a mustache later-

Who plays the boy in the wheelchair? I've seen him in another film. Couldn't find him in the cast listing on IMDB.

I've read several websites that list the boy as Voiello's "secret" son. The boy has microcephally, a sad disease. There is very little information about the boy, and he is not listed in the cast. I wonder why?
