Western reporters and aid organizations are notorious for going to other countries during national disasters and wars and partying it up. It's very disrespectful.

shareThey showed an American woman and her husband on TV the other day along with two children born in captivity in Afghanistan. The parents went backpacking through the middle of the war (her pregnant) without telling their families what they intended to do. Now they want to be rescued.
They are the same kind as the two men and woman who were arrested by the Iranians several years ago. They went backpacking along an ill defined mountain border area between Iran and Iraq and got arrested and sent to jail. Normally the only people seen in that area are drug smugglers. Once again they squealed like pigs to be rescued from their own stupidity. Their excuse was they are Americans entitled to go anywhere.
A lot of tourists showed up in Thailand after the massive tidal wave several years ago. Their kind are called Crisis tourists. They show up because things are a lot cheaper and to get a high off the misery of the locals.
