Missed opportunity

To pay homage to the '96 film by casting Mara Wilson in a role. She's an amazing vocalist to boot. I don't know what role because everyone was excellent but maybe the librarian or the mother.

But I imagine the filmmakers wanted to put as much distance between this project and the first adaptation.
