Season 2, the detective's name in her phone?

Vicky Fleming had the detective's name in her phone as was bought up by the guy leading the investigation. Wouldn't her phone have contained all records of her communication with him?

A few episodes later a burner phone (I think they called it an 'affair phone' or something like that) was mentioned but I assumed they were talking about him, surely she wouldn't have needed one.
