She's a terrific athlete, but nobody ever taught her any kind of sportsmanship or respect for her fellow athletes or the discipline that made her famous. She was terrific to watch on the floor, but the minute they shoved the mics in front of her, she was unbearable to watch or listen to. She's so full of herself. And, that's fine, but let's not act like she's come kind of amazing human being, because in reality she is a spoiled little narcissistic princess who was bred since birth to be an Olympic gymnast. I don't care about her personal life. I don't care if she is black or white. I really don't care. I just want to see her grace and technique as an athlete, and beyond that, i don't want to know anything about her or her life story. Why did they make this film?

Wait...it's on Lifetime. Why am i even raising the question?

Even if she is spoiled, conceited, or narcissistic... so what? I'm not saying that she is, but, even if she is -- so what? We only have one life to live and one opportunity on this Earth to shine and make our dreams come true. She IS special and amazing and wonderful, and, I honestly hope that she is a touch full of herself and conceited, because, she should be! Confidence = not the same thing as being conceited. Knowing you're great at something and busting your butt to get to the top = not the same thing as being narcissistic. Also, you should see me give a public speech in front of lots of people. My complete personality changes and it's like I'm not even the same person.

Let her be full of herself. She's so good and amazing at what she does that she deserves to be full of herself. You don't want want to know anything about her life or her story? That's really ironic, because, I'm pretty sure no one here wants to know about your opinion.

And, usually, I am all for having an opinion, whether it be good or bad. Lord knows, I come on Youtube and IMDB to rant all the time about things I don't like. But, when you insult and degrade someone who worked their butt off and make shallow assumptions about someone's life, that goes beyond a bad opinion and just becomes plain rude and tasteless.
