Loved S1 but S2 is boring

I watched S1 in 3 days or so, something that hasn't happened since I started watching Breaking Bad a few years ago.

But S2 is just so different. I can't keep focus on the episodes since they are pretty boring. It's like a whole other tv show.

I was wondering if there are more shows like this one, specifically like the first season? Maybe Supernatural?

I disagree but I can see why you feel this way. Season 1 followed the essence of the original movie to the letter, especially when it came to the dialogue and season 2 was missing some of that "Tarantino-ness" to it. I personally loved both seasons and I feel S2 was more exciting and action-packed than season 1. Can't wait for season 3.

Yep.

Season 2 had a different feel from Season 1 but I didn't think it was boring. They explored some interesting ideas. That these underground culebra organizations have been around for a very, very long time. Other dimensions and the fact that they crossed over from one - what else could be waiting to come into our world? And what about those other lords? They may have gotten Malvado but there are seven more still out there, and some of them may not take kindly to the change in management. It'll be interesting to see what happens to Kate. She has the potential to become a much more interesting character than she's been so far. These are just a few of the plot threads they've got going into Season 3. If they develop them well, this show has the potential to be a long-running cult classic.

As the huge FDTD fan I am, I devoured S1 and waited in immense anticipation for S2. And from following the updates, to getting the first trailer, to the arrival of the first episode, it was a blast. The season began unfolding and it was interesting, kept my attention, but I wasn't sure if I was loving it or not. A couple episodes felt like filler to me, in fact. Here I was waiting week to week, to be left with "..That was it?" But then the finale came, and that brought it all home for me. After that, I gave the 2nd season a binge-watch and loved it, now that I knew where it was going and how even the slower episodes served their purpose. To me, it was a show to watch all at once, not something to wait a week for between each episode. I think in the end, I just liked it more seeing the Gecko brothers back in action together. Like Seth even says in the finale, when they try to go their own way, they get lost. They work better together, and that sort of sums the season up for me. Now I just want Fall to get here so I can see Season 3!

season1 is better cause it has a more a common thread. an almost perfect storyline. the acting is great from the entire cast.

season 2 is more a scattered story that somehow come together.
The gecko brothers are the only one that still has a great acting performance.

I found it boring right from the start. Maybe it's better for people who haven't seen the movie, I dunno. It all felt so slow.

S1 was okay, but towards the end it felt so low budget in a bad way that really destroyed any immersion I had. Because of this I never even watched S2 and reading this I don't regret it. Also just read that S3 is coming out next week(as I'm writing this).
