What the hell did I just watch?!

I had hope for this, as the production company was IFC Midnight. Wrong! Waste of time, so utterly ridiculous, did not make sense (it did, but it just didn't) the acting was poor, at times laughable. If you have seen the trailer, and are expecting a haunted house/ghost story, you will be oh so confused and disappointed.

Yes the actual murders that happened in the house was a true story. But the film itself, is not a true story. They have basically taken the true story just for the title. As apart from the tour of the house at the beginning. This film has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the Villisca axe murders.

Yea you get these kinds of movies. Not the murders/situation themselves just people revisiting the haunted site. Pretty damn messy story. Not sure if I wanted to root for any of the characters either. Silly ending.

I did like how the actress' clothes subtlety came off towards the end of the movie when she was possessed.

I'm 20 minutes in and so far there was a girl in a bathroom, a car ride, a chat between someone on their computer and some leaves falling. It's really an exciting interesting movie I tell ya. I hope this never ends.
