I see many people are ripping the movie as do I. But, if I could pick out the single biggest craw in my hide it would be The Pope (DeNiro) killing Dog (Chestnut). I actually turned it off right then.

That made ZERO sense.

Dog worked for him. All he had to do was say, "Hey, I'm feeling sympathetic. We're gonna let him go." or whatever. But to just unload on the guy YOU trained and was essentially doing YOUR bidding because of your crisis of conscience???? Somehow you're a better man now? So ridiculous.

I think Dog was getting a bit out of hand, I think I recall him earlier saying he has a personal dedication to getting Cox and the money, and the money being gone was sending Dog over the edge.
