I refuse to watch this.

This seriously seems like Captain Phillips movie where it's widely altered for movie. Captain Phillips in reality was a jerk, he didn't care about his crew, he only cared about his ship. The crew was outrage that Hollywood made him out to be some sort of hero when he really wasn't. I don't want to go through another based on a true story that's severely altered to entertainment.

Don't get hurt kid. I'm not your daddy, I'll beat you senseless.

It stayed true to the facts for the most part, with the huge exception being the way the NTSB investigation was portrayed. The flight and the man were both accurately depicted.

"Captain Phillips" was an overrated, over-hyped distortion of the facts, big-time.

My people skills are fine. It's my tolerance of morons that needs work.

Yes, I agree with Eskayees. I watched this whole true story unfold live and saw the interviews with the flight crew and passengers. Sully truly is one smooth heroic pilot.
I wasn't sure how the investigation was in real life but yeah, it did seem over exaggerated.

Watching this movie made this event seem almost unrealistic, but unlike most non-fiction movies portray things, in this case the actual event was even more unrealistic.

I enjoyed this film far more than I expected. It's directed and acted in a low- key, non-emotive manner, which tends to actually heighten your awareness of the dangers of the real-life incident and the stresses, the principles had to carry through subsequent inquiries. Clint Eastwood racks up another winner at a lazy 85 or 86. Just amazing!🐭

You refuse to watch this but feel the need to come here and post about it?? Get a life!!!!!

I watched it last night and loved it. With Clint Eastwood as director how can it be bad.
OP, if you refuse to watch it, how do you have any opinion???
