Am I the only one who this scared the crap out of?

Like here I am sitting in my room, scared to even get up and go the bathroom because it's pitch black outside and it's "night" in the house (there's very few lights on inside, and yes I could get up and turn them on, but that's besides the point). This movie infected me to my core...I mean just the concept of being followed around by something is horrifying. It's an unknowable thing (that makes it even scarier), and it eventually catches up to you (holy crap). It's that eventuality that makes it so scary.

I watched it back in 2015 and here I am in 2017, still scared s***less of the concept of it.

the first time i watched it, it terrified me. kinda creeped me out the second time but definitely not as much. i was still a little scared to sleep with the light off. but the first time, i was horrified lol. and the entire week i slept with the light on. and felt paranoid.

lol I could've written this post myself.

After watching this (and I loved it) I could not go pee late at night. I'd just keep thinking that tall man is right behind me as I'm returning to my bedroom. Then I'd trip on something and run to my bed and crap my pants out of fear lol.

It's very creepy, the idea of something stalking you, slowly. I thought the movie was very different.

Most frightening thing about this movie is there's actually a city in this country with houses that dilapidated and they still haven't been condemned and demolished.

Yeah man. This movie did stick with me for awhile. I'm think now i'm afraid to have sex. I mean they would tell me after we did it right? That something will follow? They wouldn't leave me hangin'! lol. I don't even know how the girl went to sleep in the movie.

The music in this goes a long way to sell it I think. It's terrifying.

Agreed. missed the first few mins as I was putting the kids to bed. caught up with it when the girl got chloroformed. The rest of the film just made my skin crawl. Just an inevitability about it. Started to wonder how long you would have if you fly to the other side of the world?? no-one can help you either!!!!

I found it pretty unnerving. I just watched it tonight. It's the inevitability of it, the sense of impending doom that follows you wherever you go, and you can't stop it. All you can do is pass it on, but even if you do, sooner or later it might come back and you'll never know when.

I much prefer this kind of horror to the more in-your-face blood and guts kind of horror. The latter just grosses me out, doesn't scare me. This one unsettled me.

The music, I think, played a not inconsiderable part in unsettling me too. It was very effective.
