Why does [SPOILER]'s ship have gravity?

Why does Naomi's so have gravity while they are still trying to portray every other ship as realistically as possible?

And why would you set the hanger/launch pad for your suborbital shuttle so close to your house that your home would be destroyed every time you launched?

reply

You mean the Chetzemoka? She's got gravity because it is constantly accelerating. I think she managed to board the ship before the thrusters were fired with a timer, and they kept burning all along.

It wouldn't be destroyed in normal usage. This particular time happened because they chose to launch before the blast doors were closed and the launch doors fully open.

Yeah, i'd have to assume other doors would close as the ones above opened. That scene was hilarious.

On gravity on Naomi's ship, i was wondering the same, but if you noticed the screen Alex was watching when trying to dock with the ship, and they decided not to, the ship was having a helix trajectory. That's the reason for the centrifugal acceleration (gravity) on the ship.
