THE BEST SLASHER MOVIE AND HORROR FILM SINCE THE '80S

also they broke ground, they broke a few slasher film rules. 1. when the 2 girls were "skinny dipping" and the guy gets killed, one of the girls says, "hey what was that." then the other girl says, "it was nothing you worry too much," then the other girls says, " oh ok," and she doesn't worry anymore about it. that was a break in slasher film convention right there. i can' t think of any other slasher film that has this in it. that is truly remarkable. 2. by having the heroine get hurt seriously or permanently. she gets two of her fingers cut off. so they did hurt in both serious and permanent ways to the heroine. 3. they didn't have the surprise ending, fake death of the villain in the end. 4. they killed the close friend guy character to the heroine. 5. they killed one of the most innocent characters in this film, the hispanic, dark brown haired girl who prayed in the cafeteria near the end of the film. 6. they had the older, mid 30s Christian church teacher girl show her boobs. i've barely ever seen a mid 30s girl show her boobs in a slasher film. this for some reason is a rule. they always want it to be a young teenage or 20s age at the oldest girl showing her boobs.
there were a few things that they made mistakes on though: 1. when the two girls were "skinny dipping," they never went skinny dipping because they always had their bikini bottoms on. that was so dumb and so wrong and unrealistic. 2. they never explained why when the girl cop threw a hot cup of coffee at the villain's stomach it hurt him and the coffee sizzled. what was it in his stomach that can't get hit by hot coffee? 3. if the heroine has to be nude while wearing syrup in order for that tactic to kill the villain work why was she not nude? that was so stupid. now i understand that they obviously couldn't have the magical tactic have her have to wear bra and panties because that would be stupid. but if they had the magical tactic be her being nude then she has to be nude or else this magical tactic won't work. they should have had the actress and character be nude. this would have broken another slasher rule. the rule of the heroione not ever showing her boobs. 4. the two girls who have sex with the bus driver, you don't ever see either of their bodies in contact with his body which makes no sense. if you're going to show two people having sex then show their bodies making contact with each other's bodies. all they showed was the two girls bodies and then his body later after they were done.

In conclusion, this film made me smile and laugh so much. It is a tribute and love letter and passionate thank you to all the classic '80s slasher films that people love and cherish so much. after i watched it i thought "thank you" director of this film for making such an amazing and special slasher film. it's the closest thing to watching an '80s slasher film that you have ever gotten and are ever going to get since the '90s started besides Jason X and maybe this film is even more '80s slasher movie than Jason X. this film amazingly makes me have faith in the possibility of slasher movies being good again. this film gives me hope for slasher movies in the future.
