That combination didn't look very good at all. I have seen short skirts with boots before but not at a wedding.
shareShe was cute in it. However, her aunt, who seemed to live vicariously for an overblown dream wedding for her niece, probably hated it.
shareI actually found it hilarious that Tara spent the whole movie wanting the dream wedding too. She was willing to compromised but I found it weird that the same girl that wanted embroidered napkins also wanted combat boots with her dress. That doesn't match at all. They would have been better off having Tara be a non traditional girl with the aunt pushing. May have made more sense to me.
