Not awful but probably won't be winning any awards. The thing that bothers me is that it would not have taken too much more for this to have been a pretty good movie.

Yes, it had the potential to be a good movie, I liked the concept. Still, I think that it is better than the average SyFy movie.

No, the typical SyFy movie is schlock like "Mississippi River Sharks." "Dark Haul" is way more ambitious. It's a well thought-out, action-packed monster thriller with a stalwart cast.
