The most shocking thing about this film is...

The parents realize that the kid's dream is manifesting into reality but act as if that's not a big deal....I know they are grieving and all but WTF?

I think when a child dies you go into a very strange alternate universe. Especially because life goes on around you for everyone else and you will never have that again. You may get used to it but you will never be the same as anyone else. My nephew just died 12 weeks ago so I sort of get it.

Granted it's wack but you kind of grasp at anything. It's almost like being in a dream or to put it more understandably like you are drunk or something. It's just so shocking to lose a child. So everything else feels odd.

Hah, that's what I ultimately came away with too. They realize they're in the middle of a supernatural fairy tale and...just keep moving right along.
It was weird, I thought I must have missed a scene or something, there didn't seem to be much, if any, of a "Wtf??" moment. Too funny.

Yeah I just found this to hard to believe.

I was doing ok for awhile but then when the bully got taken and The little girl seemed pretty normal after that, not freaking the fuck out majorly. It finally lost me.

Seriously grief is one thing, but knowing a child in your house can manifest his dreams into reality, that warrants a more in depth conversation. Like ffs this essentially proves magic or whatever is real.

Also not to mention this kid seemingly has had this power for years, yet no one else besides the foster families have encountered it. Not to mention the other foster families never thought “oh my god this is amazing, quick get some cameras”.

Alright movie but you really really really really have to shut your brain off to enjoy it.
