Did it weird anyone else out how possessive Pascal was over the girls? He wasn't their real father, and I understand that he may have still felt a bond with them and want to help out but I found it very weird that he got so angry when they wouldn't call him "dad". Was it to emphasize how much he missed being with their mother and the life they had when they were together?
