No Arthur Conan Doyle?

Looking at the names on the IMDB list, you have actors playing historical figures such as Kaiser Wilhelm II, Tsar Nicholas Romanov II and Rasputin, but not a one for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. That is too bad since although they were very good friends, they did have differences with Spiritualism, with Doyle believing it fully (he claimed a medium was able to contact his son Kingsley, who died in WWI), while Houdini, though not entirely disbelieving it, had yet to find anyone who was able to contact the hereafter and instead exposing them for the frauds they were.

In looking at the trailer, I have no doubt that Houdini vs. Spiritualism will occur, but it is unlikely that we will see anything of Doyle (perhaps just mere mention).

yeah
I'm disappointed about that

He and Conan Doyle were close friends. Even thought Houdini thought he was a credulous fool.

There's a lot of Arthur Conan Doyle in the second part. Interesting relationship.

Actually they were closer friends than the movie showed. Spent a lot of time together.

Didn't Arthur kids and many other close relatives die very close to eacher other and he lost a kid during in WW1?If Houdini ever had kids I wonder how he would fair with that deaths.

They made Doyle out as a loon but not the depress man he was after he lost his wife and child.
