People dressed a lot more elegantly back then, particularly the women.

Love the styles. So classy & stylish.

Not like half the crap you see now.

IDK, yes it's stylish, but it took a lot more time to get dressed then. I like being able to just throw on a pair of jeans and go. I draw the line at wearing pj's to buy groceries, though.

That's because if you were part of a particular social class, you didn't really have to do much except have lunch and prance around looking all pretty and idle.
