That depends on what aspect of “wokeness” you’re referring to. Since the story takes place in the 18th century and the author has done an enormous about of research to insure that the details are historically accurate, I’m inclined to say … it doesn’t?

Nope. There’s only one thread that mentions anything being “woke,” and it was quickly proven wrong.

As I said, the majority of the story takes place in the 18th century and is consistent with life in the 18th century. It’s not “woke.”
