OH MY GOD! The brutal part about this is it starts out good and then the last half is unbearably bad. How did this movie get 90% on Rotten Tomatoes? I will never trust that site again. I'm not sure how it is possible for anyone to give this ridiculous movie a positive review.
shareI agree - first half (or third) was decent, but then ..........dropping from 7/10 to 3/10 - how did this movie get a Metascore of 76 - same as real quality movies with A-list stars hmmmm. For me the ending was unwatchable.
shareJust watched it - after half an hour I decided it was a comedy, and laughed all the way to the end. I don't know whether Dan Stevens has any children, but he will be embarrassed when they all get together in 20 or 30 years from now, and say, 'Dad, how did you manage to keep a straight face on the set?' and 'Grandad, is that REALLY you?'

shareI watched it last night. It is without doubt a terrible film. 'David' was about as sinister as Bart Simpson. The plot twist was pathetic. The ending, which I saw from a mile off, was equally pathetic.
Wingard is a dreadful film maker. The Guest & You're Next are two honking great turds. I have yet to see Blair Witch and to be honest I don't think I'll bother.
It's all a deep end.
